Bio

      Julaya Burvin is a multitalented vocalist and pianist from Belarus. All of which encompass genres including everything from Jazz, Pop, Rock all the way to Electronic and House music. Discovering her passion at the age of 5, she began taking classical piano  and voice lessons. Refining her skills over the years, Julaya’s confidence flourished, winning numerous awards at international contests in Belarus, Russia, Poland and Germany. Building on the momentum, Julaya majored in classical piano, choir conducting and classical vocal techniques, as she became the most popular artist in her hometown. She was a scholarship recipient of the prestigious State University of Culture and Arts in Saint- Petersburg, Russia, after competing amongst 120 students.

     Julaya is known for many live performances in the media such as her appearance alongside the great Mikhail Finberg and his famous orchestra on the largest Belarusian TV channel - BTV. She had the pleasure of being acknowledged by one the most significant artists in the USSR, Victor Lebedev most notably known for the songs “Lanfren-Lanfra” and “Ne veshat’ nos”. This experience was a turning point for Julaya - introducing her to the world of Jazz. This love set her on a journey to dive deeper into the source of the music - leading her to the United States.

     Making her mark upon new grounds, Julaya honed her experience as lead vocalist for numerous bands in South Florida. Even yielding a project as a pianist with the popular Univision tv show, "Mira Quien Baila.”  She also sang backgrounds opening for international superstar, Julio Iglesias. While in the states still recording vocals for popular Russian artists.  

Influenced by everything from Deede Bridgewater, Natalie Cole, Beyonce, to Tchaikovsky.  She also loves the music of David Guetta and Calvin Harris which have inspired her to DJ as well. You can even find collaborations of her singing with other DJ’s.  

     Stripping away her introverted personality, she unnervingly lets loose on the stage, pumping out vibrant performances with each elegant note. Whether she’s singing in English or Spanish her native tongue goes unnoticed. Striking a deep connection with the mind, music and soul, Julaya Burvin transcends boundaries as her ever evolving artistry unites scores of people of various cultures across the world.
